It’s me! Jime! (Did you read that with a Mario voice? I sure hope so!) It’s pronounced he-may. I don’t think we’ve met before. Nice to meet you. I’m not sure how you got here, but I am glad you did. I am an American working wife and mother, living in the Midwest. I’m working towards my dream career of being stay at home mom. I was born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay. I am married to an amazing man, Aaron who is a soldier, a musician and also has a full time civilian job. We are blessed with three children (so far) Benedict, Josephine and Constantine (still in the oven). We are practicing Roman Catholics and we have a pretty simple yet beautiful life in the heart of the country.
This blog is really an open dairy. I’m not an expert in marriage, parenting, Catholicism or anything really. I strive to live a holy life but I am sure you know it’s hard as heck! I don’t have any social media platforms – intentionally- and I realize that it is extremely hard to find people that are interested in true and real (as opposed to virtual) relationships these days. That’s why I decided to start a blog: so that it may be something like an open dairy. Somewhere I would share my daily victories and defeats. I’m not an educated writer and English is my third language, so if you happen to be the grammar police, I may be in trouble more than once.
I want to share the beauty of family life and faith but also the struggles and challenges I encounter along the way. I like to add some humor to most things I share, so please don’t take me TOO seriously.
Once again, thank you for being here.
